Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actor from Canada. She was the Teletoon child's comedy series Majority Rules' Becky Richards. From 2009 to 2010. Between 2009 and 2010, she appeared in the role of Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) on the NBC series Revolution, a post-apocalyptic science-fiction show. The show was nominated for win a Saturn Award as Best Actress on TV. Annika Johnson played her part on the A&E television show Bates Motel. Spiridakos has been a part of the NBC drama Chicago P.D. since 2017. Spiridakos plays Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents, restaurant owners George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. The family moved to Skala in Greece located south of Sparta within a short time after her birth. In 1992 the family returned to Canada. She is strongly connected to her Greek family and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school. Later, she was a student at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos moved to Winnipeg in 2007. She found her first role on Supernatural within weeks. She continued to work on television, playing walk-on roles in Bionic Woman's The L Word, Hellcats, Psych and other shows. Spiridakos was in the TV movie Goblin as well as the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She was also a regular on Being Human, as Brynn McLean, the werewolf. In 2009, the actress was awarded her first role as a starring character in Majority Rules! Canada, where she played 15-year-old Becky Richards. She made her feature film debut in 2011 by starring in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and filmed the low-budget Michael Greenspan-helmed thriller, Kill for Me, starring across from Donal Logue and Katie Cassidy. Spiridakos appeared as Sammi in the 2012 Nickelodeon original film, Rags. She then landed a lead part in the NBC television show Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, the survivalist of a dystopian future civilization. She auditioned while she was taking part in her pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos was the pilot's camera in Atlanta. The first season was shot in Wilmington, North Carolina. For her performance on the pilot, she was nominated to win the Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV. She fell short to Anna Torv of Fringe's Anna Torv. In the second season production moved to Austin Texas.
