Abbie Cornish Biography

Abbie Cornish is an Australian actress and rapper. She started modeling at 13 and her first acting gig was when she was 15 years old. She was able to appear in several TV shows and films. Cornish is best known for her roles as courtier Bess Throckmorton in the historical film 'Elizabeth: The Golden Age'. She also played as the heroin addict in the film 'Candy,' Lindy in the sci-fi thriller "Limitless" and Fanny Brawne in the biopic "Bright Star.". The roles she has played on television include 'Outriders" and Marking Time'. Cornish is a singer and rapper who has performed since 2000 under the stage name MC Dusk. Her birthplace was New South Wales. She was raised by three of her siblings and enjoyed a happy childhood. But when she reached the age of 16 and her parents divorced, she was devastated. Abbie was able overcome the hurt of divorce by focusing her efforts in her profession. The Australian beauty enjoys playing the piano and guitar although she would rather be acting over everything else. Cornish is vegan and is a proponent of animal rights. She has occasionally contributed to organizations that promote animal rights. Abbie Cornish was born in Lochinvar (New South Wales), Australia on 7 August 1982. Abbie Cornish is the second of the five kids of Barry and Shelley Cornish. She is the older sister of Isabelle Corish who is also an actress. When it comes to the relationship between the actress and her lover, she was once in a relationship with actor Ryan Phillippe who she dated from 2006 until 2010.
